After much speculation, it is now officially announced by Counter Logic Gaming that Jonathan ‘Loda’ Berg and Johan ‘Smulgullig’ Gidmark will be leaving the team, and replaced by Rasmus ‘MiSeRy’ Filipsen and Dominik ‘Lacoste’ Stipic.

ROOT Gaming, mostly known for their prominent and outspoken StarCraft II personalities, recently announced their comeback to the e-Sports scene after a break of almost a year. This time around a new – but not unknown – Dota 2 team is going to complement this ambitious organization.

After a series of lackluster performances as well as inactivity, Keita Gaming has dropped the majority of their current Swedish Dota 2 squad, but have moved quickly to pick up the fellow Swedes in youBoat.

Speaking in a yet to be released podcast by Polygon, Gabe Newell, co-founder of Valve, has confirmed that the game will be free-to-play. He did however mention that there will be a “twist” to the business model.
